How to use Batch Image Compressor
1. Select your input
Choose a JPG, PNG or WebP image from your device using the file button or supported drop area. The standard file picker accepts browser-readable images up to 25 MB; decoding support depends on the file and browser.
2. Understand the settings
Select multiple files; each can be up to 25 MB. Presets, the quality slider and output format apply to the batch.
3. Process and review
Choose files, check the selected list, set a compression preset and click Process All Images. Review each result card before downloading it.
4. Save your result
Use the result’s Download control after processing. Keep your original separately and inspect the exported copy at its intended display size; the preview alone is not the file you will share.
Supported formats
Input: browser-readable images, normally JPG, PNG and WebP, up to 25 MB. Output controls include the shown Keep, JPG, PNG or WebP choices. Keep preserves a supported source encoding choice, not byte-for-byte original data; animation is not preserved.
When to use this tool
Prepare several photos with the same compression settings, then inspect each result rather than assuming every photo saves the same amount.
What to check in the result
A preset can work well for a photograph but soften a screenshot. Reprocess exceptions separately and keep originals outside the download folder.
Continue with Compress Image when that step fits your workflow.
A practical example
A set of twelve shop photos can share the same quality setting but will still have different final file sizes.
Capabilities and limitations
A large batch uses more memory. Downloads are individual results; do not expect a ZIP or identical savings on every file.
Troubleshooting
If one file fails, confirm it opens independently and retry that file separately. Check the individual results; a successful first item does not prove every item exported.
Processing and privacy
Image pixels are processed on your device. Loading the website and processing assets still uses a network connection, and hosting may receive normal request information. Keep original files backed up.
Questions about Batch Image Compressor
Does this download a ZIP?
No. The current batch workflow provides individual result downloads.
Do all files use the same settings?
The batch applies the selected format and quality settings; inspect each result because images respond differently.
