How to use Add Text to Image
1. Select your input
Choose a JPG, PNG or WebP image from your device using the file button or supported drop area. The standard file picker accepts browser-readable images up to 25 MB; decoding support depends on the file and browser.
2. Understand the settings
Choose a locally available font, colour, size, position preset, horizontal/vertical position, direction and curve. Text backgrounds have colour and opacity controls.
3. Process and review
Enter text, choose position or click the picture, tune size, add a contrasting background when needed, process and inspect edges.
4. Save your result
Use the result’s Download control after processing. Keep your original separately and inspect the exported copy at its intended display size; the preview alone is not the file you will share.
Supported formats
Input: browser-readable images, normally JPG, PNG and WebP, up to 25 MB. Output controls include the shown Keep, JPG, PNG or WebP choices. Keep preserves a supported source encoding choice, not byte-for-byte original data; animation is not preserved.
When to use this tool
Add a caption or designed text with the available style, direction and placement controls. Place important text where it remains readable over the image.
What to check in the result
Review the exported text at its final display size. Small text, low contrast and a position near a crop boundary can make a caption unreadable.
Continue with Add Watermark when that step fits your workflow.
A practical example
Add a short event title above a photograph without covering people’s faces.
Capabilities and limitations
Font rendering depends on fonts installed on the device. Long text can overflow; check the result before downloading.
Troubleshooting
If a selected font looks different, it may not be installed on the device. Use an available font, move the text inside the canvas and check the exported result.
Processing and privacy
Image pixels are processed on your device. Loading the website and processing assets still uses a network connection, and hosting may receive normal request information. Keep original files backed up.
