How to use Watermark Remover
1. Select your input
Choose a JPG, PNG or WebP image from your device using the file button or supported drop area. Follow the displayed 20 MB/12 MP limit; smaller images reduce processing memory.
2. Understand the settings
Paint a selection, apply local repair, compare before/after and use step-by-step Undo or restore the original. Changing export settings requires Update Download Format.
3. Process and review
Mark only a small unwanted area, apply removal, review the reconstruction and repeat small corrections before downloading.
4. Save your result
Use the result’s Download control after processing. Keep your original separately and inspect the exported copy at its intended display size; the preview alone is not the file you will share.
Supported formats
Input: JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 20 MB and 12 megapixels. Available exports are PNG, JPG and WebP; choose PNG or WebP when transparency is needed.
When to use this tool
Mark an unwanted watermark on an image you own or have permission to edit, apply local repair and refine the result with Undo.
What to check in the result
Repaired texture is estimated. Large marks over faces, lettering or repeating patterns may leave artifacts and do not restore verified original detail.
Continue with Restore Old Photo when that step fits your workflow.
A practical example
Remove your own old corner stamp from a copy while retaining the unmodified original.
Capabilities and limitations
Repaired pixels are estimates from surroundings. Broad marks over faces or texture can leave artifacts; permission to edit is required.
Troubleshooting
If a repeated texture looks smeared, undo the pass and mark a smaller region. Broad watermarks covering faces or fine patterns are harder to reconstruct.
Processing and privacy
Image pixels are processed on your device. Loading the website and processing assets still uses a network connection, and hosting may receive normal request information. Keep original files backed up.
Questions about Watermark Remover
Will removed areas be historically exact?
No. The tool estimates replacement pixels from its surroundings or the available reconstruction method.
Can I undo a poor repair?
Use the repair undo controls before exporting, and keep the original image for a full restart.
