Do I need an account for the core tools?

The core tools are available without an account in the current collection. Browser support and each tool’s displayed size limits still apply.

Are all 50 tools generative AI?

No. The collection includes conventional browser image processing and model-assisted operations. The ImgProcess AI group is a practical photo-improvement collection; each tool explains its method and limits.

Why is background removal marked under development?

Some subjects and edges need manual correction. Use the local erase/restore brushes and Undo, then inspect the transparent PNG or changed-background download.

Can colourization reveal the original colours?

It predicts a plausible treatment. Use colour replacement when a predicted colour is wrong, and retain the original grayscale copy.

Does upscaling restore missing true detail?

The browser upscaler uses staged interpolation and detail recovery. It increases output dimensions without proving the original scene’s absent details.

Why can an advanced restoration option be unavailable?

Optional neural reconstruction requires its separate local model files. Basic restoration and local scratch repair have their own capabilities and limits.

Does forensic confidence mean a percentage of edited pixels?

No. Read the report’s individual evidence sections and preserved disclaimers. Missing engines remain unavailable.

Why is an exported image still large?

Format, dimensions and content affect file size. Lossless PNG does not use JPG’s quality trade-off. Use the compression tutorial to choose the appropriate workflow.

Do JPG and JPEG mean different formats?

They refer to the same image format. Use the Image Converter for browser-readable JPG/JPEG, PNG and WebP workflows.

Can I convert an image or PSD to PDF here?

PDF and PSD conversion is not part of the current launch tools. Metadata PDF reports are reports, rather than general image-to-PDF conversion.

Are analytics and ads required to use a tool?

Optional analytics can be accepted or rejected using Cookie preferences. The current release does not install an advertising network. Core local image operations remain available when analytics is rejected.

Where is the cartoon tool?

Image-to-cartoon remains parked and excluded from launch navigation while its server, model and API requirements are unresolved.
