TOOL-SPECIFIC GUIDE

How to use Enhance Image

1. Select your input

Choose a browser-readable photo using the file control. The quality tools limit sources to 20 MB; JPG, PNG and WebP are the practical choices. A smaller working copy reduces processing memory.

2. Understand the settings

Automatic assessment appears with the first result. Tone, brightness, contrast, colour and clarity controls become available afterwards.

3. Process and review

Choose the photo, click Automatically Enhance Image, compare the draft, fine-tune if needed and download the result.

4. Save your result

Use the result’s Download control after processing. Keep your original separately and inspect the exported copy at its intended display size; the preview alone is not the file you will share.

Supported formats

Input: JPG, PNG or WebP within the uploader’s displayed size limits. Export PNG, JPG or WebP using the output controls; lossy encoding quality applies to JPG/WebP.

When to use this tool

Start with an automatic enhancement draft, then adjust the correction controls if brightness, contrast, colour or clarity needs refinement.

What to check in the result

Look for clipped highlights, exaggerated colours and sharpening halos. The enhancement engine uses browser image algorithms rather than a trained generative AI model.

Continue with Denoise Image when that step fits your workflow.

A practical example

Lift a flat indoor photo, then lower colour intensity if the automatic draft looks too strong.

Capabilities and limitations

The automatic assessment is an image-processing heuristic. It does not understand historical colour accuracy or recreate missing facial detail.

Troubleshooting

If the first draft is too strong, reduce tone or clarity settings and reprocess. Avoid clipped highlights and compare skin tones against the original.

Processing and privacy

Image pixels are processed on your device. Loading the website and processing assets still uses a network connection, and hosting may receive normal request information. Keep original files backed up.

Questions about Enhance Image

Can I correct the automatic first draft?

Yes. Adjust the available controls and process again before downloading.

Does enhancement repair scratches?

Tone and clarity adjustment do not reconstruct damaged regions; use the restoration repair workflow.
