Agreement and scope
These terms govern use of www.imgprocess.com and its available tools. “ImgProcess”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean the operator identified below. By using the service, you agree to these terms to the extent a binding agreement can be formed under applicable law. If you do not agree, do not use the service. A separate privacy choice is not inferred from this agreement.
The Privacy Policy and Cookie and Storage Policy explain information handling. Tool instructions and the Disclaimer explain technical limits. Specific analysis and report acknowledgments also apply to Image Investigation; they do not replace these terms or any mandatory legal protection.
Eligibility and authorized use
You must be legally able to use the service and accept these terms. If acting for an organization, you must have authority to do so. A minor must have appropriate parent or guardian involvement and comply with local age and capacity requirements. The service is not directed at children under 13.
You are responsible for having the necessary rights, permissions and lawful basis for the images and other information you select, submit, edit or share. This includes copyright, privacy, confidentiality, personality and other applicable rights. A person appearing in a photograph does not automatically authorize every use of that photograph.
Ownership and limited processing permission
You retain any rights you have in your input files. These terms do not transfer ownership of your photos to ImgProcess. Selecting or submitting content grants only the permission necessary to carry out your requested operation and provide the associated service. Connected providers may process submitted data under their own applicable service arrangements and policies.
Rights in output depend on your input, the type of transformation and applicable law; we do not guarantee that an output is protectable, exclusive or free of third-party rights. You are responsible for evaluating permission before publication, commercial use or distribution. ImgProcess branding, site design, editorial material and code are protected subject to applicable third-party and open-source licenses.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service for unlawful content or conduct; infringement of intellectual property, privacy or confidentiality; fraud, impersonation, harassment, exploitation or non-consensual intimate material; distribution of malware; or interference with another person’s rights. Do not use fabricated or altered material to mislead others about evidence or authorship.
Do not bypass access controls, misuse credentials, evade quotas, overload endpoints, probe for unauthorized access or disrupt the service. Automated access and integration must respect any published restrictions and applicable permissions. Do not encourage ad clicks, automate impressions or otherwise manipulate an advertising network.
Watermarks, metadata and sensitive edits
Use watermark removal only where you own the relevant content and rights or have permission to remove the mark. A technically successful removal does not grant a copyright license or permission to erase attribution or rights-management information. Metadata removal likewise does not remove rights or legal restrictions.
You must evaluate whether blurring, pixelating, recolouring or reconstructing an image is suitable for the task. Editing can leave recognizable details, alter evidence and remove information needed later. Preserve the original separately.
Local operations and connected services
Core local tools use your browser and available device resources. Results and speed depend on browser support, file encoding, memory, image size and model loading. Internet access can be needed to load the website and processing assets.
Image Investigation can transmit images through server endpoints to configured external analysis services after the requested acknowledgment. Read the processing disclosures first. Service configuration, provider restrictions and quotas can make a check unavailable. Never interpret unavailable status as a completed or passing test.
Outputs, evidence and human review
Compression, conversion, interpolation, sharpening, denoising and other adjustments may change pixels, metadata, transparency, animation or colour appearance. Colourization and reconstructed regions are estimates, not a verified recovery of historical facts. Review downloaded results at the intended display size and check the receiving application’s requirements.
Forensic findings, detector scores and visual consistency observations are informational analytical aids. They do not conclusively establish authenticity, origin, authorship, intent, fraud or legal liability. A score does not measure the percentage of pixels edited. Obtain qualified independent review before consequential use, and do not make legal, employment, regulatory or similarly significant decisions solely on an automated result.
Availability and changes
The currently offered tools are available without a stated processing charge, subject to displayed limits and service availability. We may maintain, modify, restrict or discontinue a feature for operational, legal, security or quality reasons. No guaranteed uptime, processing speed, recovery result or permanent availability is promised.
Any future paid service requires clearly presented separate pricing and payment terms. These terms do not authorize an undisclosed subscription. Advertising, if later activated, does not itself make an advertiser’s service part of ImgProcess.
External links and advertising
External sites, services and offers are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. A link or advertisement is not an endorsement or guarantee of the advertiser, product or accuracy of a claim. Verify the destination before disclosing information or making a purchase.
Advertising is not active in this release. If enabled later, do not click ads to support us or ask others to do so; interact with an ad only because the offer interests you. Advertising choices and disclosures will be described separately.
Warranties and responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service and informational outputs are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without promises of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted operation or error-free results. We do not guarantee that a transformation satisfies a platform’s changing requirements or preserves every relevant feature.
You remain responsible for choosing appropriate inputs, retaining backups, reviewing outputs and lawfully using results. These provisions do not exclude any warranty or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Liability and third-party claims
To the extent permitted by applicable law, ImgProcess is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service, such as loss of profits, opportunity or data, or harm arising from an unsupported interpretation of an automated result. This is not an exclusion of liability that law prohibits excluding, including applicable responsibility for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or personal injury where such exclusions are unlawful.
Where permitted by law, you are responsible for reasonable losses and third-party claims arising from your unlawful content or material breach of these terms. This does not require you to cover losses caused by our own unlawful conduct, and does not override mandatory consumer protections. Any claim must be handled fairly with appropriate notice and an opportunity to respond.
Complaints, rights and abuse reports
Use the Contact page for service problems, privacy requests, suspected security issues or rights complaints. For an intellectual-property complaint, identify the work and relevant page or operation, explain the claimed rights and provide a way to contact you. Do not include unnecessary private files or publicly expose credentials.
Because local-only images are not maintained as a public hosted gallery, we may be unable to locate or remove a file that was never transmitted to us. We may restrict misuse of connected services or other access where necessary and lawful.
Disputes, mandatory rights and severability
Contact us first where reasonably possible so that a dispute can be investigated and resolved. Applicable law and any court’s jurisdiction depend on the operator, the interaction and mandatory rules. These terms do not impose mandatory private arbitration or remove a consumer’s right to use a competent court or regulator.
Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot lawfully be waived. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent lawful. A failure to enforce a provision once is not a permanent waiver.
Updates and contact
We may revise these terms for service, operational or legal changes. The effective date and version below identify the revision. We will communicate material changes as appropriate; new consent or agreement will be sought where required. Check this page before a new material use of the service. The operator and verified contact details below identify the available support channel.
