Photo Enhancement and Restoration Tools

Choose tone enhancement, grain reduction, enlargement, colour prediction or old-photo restoration. Each operation has a different purpose and different limits.

Choose the correction your source needs

Enhance Image creates an automatic tone-and-clarity draft with later correction controls. Denoise Image reduces grain. Upscale Image enlarges using staged browser interpolation and adjustable detail recovery. These are browser image algorithms, not a blanket set of generative AI models.

Colourize Image uses a local model to predict colour and allows colour replacement. Restore Old Photo improves fading and noise, then provides marked-area repair or available neural reconstruction for scratches.

Compare realism as well as apparent detail

Stronger sharpening can outline edges, denoising can soften texture, and enlargement adds pixels without verifying lost original detail. Predicted colours and reconstructed regions can look convincing while being historically wrong.

Start from a good scan or source image, keep an original, and inspect faces, lettering and repeating patterns after processing. Choose correction controls based on the visible result, not a promise of perfect recovery.
